Review

Matthew Paul Turner has successfully written an encouraging love letter to children everywhere explaining their purpose in beautiful rhyme and simple prose. Children everywhere will embrace their own uniqueness, creativeness, and special talents. On the wonderful journey of self-discovery, while learning who they are and building upon why am I here questions, excitedly the children will discover and share with one another the Biblical truths that bring them joy. The illustrations enhance the story line perfectly. Beautiful colorful detailed pages will encourage kids to dream, and to celebrate being YOU! The story is so life affirming! Children of all ages will choose to celebrate life and see that their gifts and talents can help someone else! I especially like, "So be you - fully you - a show-stopping revue. Live your life in full color, every tint, every hue!" What a marvelous foundation for parents and grandparents to share with their children that a loving God delights in the creation of every child! My favorite line in the book, "'Cause when God made you, this much is true, the world got to meet who God already knew."

5/5 stars! Loved the book. Highly recommend for home and Sunday school library.

Book Review: Good Good Father for Little Ones

Inspired by the #1 hit song “Good Good Father,” as heard on Chris Tomlin’s new album.
“Oh, I’ve heard a thousand stories of what they think you’re like . . . but I’ve heard the tender whisper of love in the dead of night . . . and you tell me that you’re pleased . . . and that I’m never alone. You’re a good good Father.”
Experience the truth of God’s love for His children in refreshing, heartwarming ways through the children’s board book Good Good Father for Little Ones, illustrated with stunning art by Lorna Hussey and penned by Grammy Award-winning Christian music artist Chris Tomlin and Pat Barrett.
With sweet, rhyming text, Good Good Father for Little Ones explores many of the attributes that make God such a good, good Father: like a warrior, He protects you; like a teacher, He helps you learn and grow; like a doctor, He makes you feel better; like a farmer, He provides the food you need; like a musician, He brings you joy. Most of all, a good, good Father loves you!
Based on the children’s picture book Good Good Father, this precious rhyming adaptation will leave little ones with a greater assurance that God truly is a good, good Father and they are loved by Him.

Book Review

As a grandmother of 5, I especially wanted the little ones to understand the character of God with a simple story line, word pictures they would remember, and a connection with warm illustrations. I found this charming book to do just that and more! The good news of God's love for His children has a fresh approach in comparing a Father as a lion (like a kind and fair king) who is sometimes like a warrior protecting you; like a teacher (friend), who helps you learn and grow; like a doctor (healer), who makes you feel better; like a farmer, who provides the food you need; like a musician, who brings you joy. I especially like this part being a piano teacher and playing the keyboard on worship teams for over 30 years. I love to worship and Chris Tomlin is the best! Most of all, a good, good Father (like a daddy) loves you! This story answers in a wonderful way many questions little ones have regarding what a good, good father is like. The board book has great cover art and within the 24 durable pages is a precious story that will warm hearts of all ages!

5/5 stars! Love the book! Highly recommend it!
