Skywatch Friday: Pumpkin Skies

Pumpkin Sky Sunrise: LadyD Books
I enjoy the fall season around this time of year. We bring out our autumn decorations and place them around the house and the front entry way. Usually we have pumpkins and gourds growing around the ranch but this year we chose to visit a pumpkin farm instead. One particular October morning here in SoCal, seeing this warm sunrise was a pleasant surprise!

The sky seems to change so rapidly from one minute to the next but the mountain silhouette pretty much stays the same.

You can tell it's getting lighter as the orange colors begin to fade away. I like the color orange more and more. It's a "pumpkin sky" morning for sure. Photos for Skywatch Friday
